The first round of the Slovak National Off-road Championship took place this weekend in Puchov. The track was more of a UK-style track with plenty of grass but after some time the track was changing to dusty and dirty conditions, making driving more difficult and demanding. The XRAY XB8 confirmed its great performance when in the qualifiers and finals the XRAY was the most popular brand, and it completely dominated the race.
From the qualifiers, the 4 best drivers qualified for the main final and another 4 drivers had to fight through semi final.
After the qualifiers it was Martin Hudy who set the best result and took the TQ position. The final was really very close, with both Martin and Juraj Hudy driving close behind each other, changing their positions several times. During refuelling Martin's engine stopped and he was not able to catch on the leading position.
